“Ukraine in our Hearts” is a concert dedicated to Ukraine by the children’s choir “Moloda Dumka”. The children work hard all year to introduce the public to Ukrainian music and to share awareness about Ukraine. “Moloda Dumka” performs throughout the year, including joining the Ukrainian Chorus Dumka at the annual Christmas concert at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The children participated in video recordings for charity organizations and recorded multiple tracks including “Carol of the Bells” with Ukrainian Chorus Dumka and “Peace, Joy, Love” with artists Haley & Michaels, Matt and Savannah Shaw, and Jim Brickman. “Moloda Dumka” recently did multiple recordings for Academy and Emmy nominee Evgeny Afineevsky’s upcoming film “Children in the Fire”, portraying the lives of Ukrainian children during wartime.
This year, “Moloda Dumka” is performing together with the band “Trioda” – a famous Ukrainian band created in Ternopil in 2013. “Trioda” participated in the show “X-Factor” where they became known as “The Soul of Ukrainian People”. Since 2013, the group has been actively engaged in their artistry, participating in various projects and touring Europe, The United States, and Canada. They actively support Ukrainian soldiers by volunteering, and representing Ukrainian culture. Together with the HELP HEROES OF UKRAINE fund, they help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
